Welcome

The Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar is established pursuant to Article II, Section 2 of the By-Laws of the Utah State Bar to seek the participation of all interested members of the Bar. The Estate Planning Section seeks to benefit all Bar members by providing the opportunity and forum for the interchange of ideas in the area of Estate Planning and Probate, and by initiating and implementing common projects. The Estate Planning Section provides oversight of both State and Federal laws and regulations and makes recommendations to the Bar with respect thereto. The Estate Planning Section may also benefit all Bar members by the continuous monitoring of activities of individuals and groups inimical to the interests of the Bar and to the public, and undertakes such other service as may be of benefit to the members, the legal profession and the public.
